Charter broker Missy Johnston at Northrop and Johnson Worldwide Yacht Charters says: “Whether it’s Jacuzzis or onboard swimming pools, either way it is hard to beat the sundeck Jacuzzi and foredeck swimming pool on the 295-foot Corsair motoryacht Nero, which is in the Caribbean this winter for charter.”
Churchill Yacht Partners tells us the 154-foot Admiral motoryacht Rhino has a sundeck hot tub that is hard to beat, and the crew can set up an inflatable water slide from the top deck so you can cool off with a refreshing dip in the ocean after your soak.
Hyde Yachts recommends the sundeck hot tub aboard the 164-foot Feadship motoryacht Troyanda (which previously chartered as High Chaparral).
Y.CO has three recommendations this week. First is for the 228-foot motoryacht Sherakhan, whose sundeck hot tub is among the biggest in the global yacht-charter industry. Second is the 203-foot VSY motoryacht Sealyon, which not only has an on-deck hot tub but which also has a rotating sunbed nearby for additional relaxation. Third is the 180-foot Benetti motoryacht Altitude, whose large hot tub is a great place to enjoy hors d’oeuvres prepared by the award-winning yacht’s chef.
Camper and Nicholsons International raves about the hot tub aboard the 145-foot Heesen motoryacht At Last, which also has a robust water-sports and scuba program for fun in the sea.
CharterWave editor Kim Kavin has three recommendations this week as well. First is for the 241-foot Freire motoryacht Naia: “Her hot tub is part of an indoor-outdoor gymnasium that is unique in the charter industry. Guests can enjoy sun, shade, exercise, relaxation–whatever they want, all in one location on the yacht.”
Second this week from Kim is the 224-foot Amels motoryacht Lady S: “I just saw her a few weeks ago in Antigua, and she’s looking as good as ever. Her sundeck hot tub with water jets is on what the crew call the ‘barbecue deck,’ which also includes an enclosed, air-conditioned gymnasium and an amidships spa room for massages, manicures and more. A hammam is inside for anyone interested in a steam, and oxygen facials are on the spa menu. Dining and seating on this deck includes a bar and a full-on teppanyaki grill. It’s a tough spot to beat.”
Third this week from Kim is the 216-foot Delta motoryacht Invictus: “She was one of the largest superyachts to launch into the global charter fleet in 2013, and her sundeck includes an infinity-style hot tub with outstanding views all around.”
