Charter yacht owners from the Bahamas to the Mediterranean are looking to get a few more bookings on their calendars before the winter season begins to wind down, and as the summer season starts to heat up—so they’re offering incentive rates and bonus days galore.
Also from Churchill Yacht Partners is news that the 142-foot Palmer Johnson motoryacht Lady J has had a cancellation. To fill the calendar gap, the owner is giving a 15-percent price break for any charter completed in or near St. Lucia, or a 10-percent price break for any charter completed in or near Sint Maarten or the Virgin Islands, prior to March 10.
Regency Yacht Charters says the 60-foot Horizon powercatamaran La Manguita got such a big response to its recent offer of 10 percent off that the yacht has opened up more charter dates with that same deal in the British Virgin Islands, for the next three clients to book.
Nicholson Yachts sends word that the 100-foot Ferri Cantieri sailing yacht Jupiter has extended her 15-percent discount offer through March 1, taking her weekly base rate from $35,000 to $29,500.
Edmiston says the 172-foot Baglietto motoryacht Mischief is giving 15 percent off seven-day charters and 20 percent off 14-day charters from March 1-17 in the Bahamas. The seven-day base rate drops from $235,000 to $200,000, and the 14-day base rate drops from $470,000 to $375,000.
