 CharterWave is owned and produced by award-winning journalist Kim Kavin. Her work appears regularly in leading marine magazines such as Yachting, where she is the charter editor, and she has been quoted as a charter expert everywhere from The Wall Street Journal to Conde Nast Traveler. Kim is the author of the charter industry "bible" Dream Cruises: The Insider's Guide to Private Yacht Charter Vacations, and was elected three times as president of Boating Writers International, marine journalism's leading professional organization. She is an affiliate member of CYBA International and the Florida Yacht Brokers Association, which help to set the standards for charter professionalism worldwide.
