New Megayacht Blog
My team and I here at CharterWave pride ourselves on offering you a great deal of charter information that you simply can’t find anywhere else. We get that information in a lot of ways, including our personal travel near and far, our countless contacts in the global charter industry, and our constant searching through information sources that we’ve come to trust as reliable.
I’m adding a new blog to that category of trusted information sources today. It’s called Megayacht News, and it just went live yesterday for the world.
Megayacht News is written by Diane Byrne, who for more than a decade has been the executive editor in charge of megayacht coverage for Power & Motoryacht magazine. She edits the charter articles that I write for that magazine, and having sat on the receiving end of her red pen for more than four years, I can tell you firsthand that Diane really knows her stuff.
She’s still at the magazine, but–like more and more of us writers these days–has decided that there’s just not enough room in a monthly print publication to cover all the megayacht news she wants to share with readers. Hence her new daily blog, Megayacht News, which she says will include up-to-the-minute news from global shipyards about megayachts that are destined to become available for charter.
We here on CharterWave will certainly continue to get onboard those yachts, interview their crews, sample their chefs’ cooking, and report back to you about which yachts we think are most worthy of your vacation dollar.
But if you want to learn about some of these yachts several years before they even begin to float, Diane’s Megayacht News blog should be a darn good place to look.
