Perle Bleue is Apparently a Real Gem

The Hakvoort shipyard in Holland launched a new megayacht this week, the 124-foot Perle Bleue. Its owners are longtime charter yacht owners, having previously owned the 147-foot Hakvoort motoryacht Campbell Bay and the 130-foot Broward motoryacht Pegasus–both of which I’ve been onboard and found quite fantastic.

Here’s a shot of the new yacht from a friend who was at the launch:

Perle Bleue is said to be built specifically with charter in mind, able to take ten guests with six crew. Early buzz coming from the yard is that the owners, knowing how people on charter enjoy being outdoors, paid extra attention to enhancing the aft deck and sundeck areas.

The yacht is not available for charter this summer; she’s making her way over to the States, where she’ll be on display this October at the Fort Lauderdale boat show in Florida. But she is taking bookings now for this coming winter, when she’ll be in the Caribbean at a weekly base rate of $145,000.

If you want to be one of the first onboard, now’s the time to contact any reputable charter broker. Perle Bleue is part of the fleet at Fraser Yachts Worldwide.
