A Couple of Good Articles

I was fortunate enough to take home not one, but two writing awards at the recent, annual writing contest sponsored by Boating Writers International. Both of my articles were second-place winners, one in the travel/destinations category and one in the megayachts category. Each of the stories originally appeared in Power & Motoryacht magazine, where I am the charter and cruising editor.

The article that won in the travel/destinations category was about a charter I did onboard a luxury charter barge in France’s Burgundy wine country. You can read it by clicking here, and as always, I’ll have an expanded edition of it posted for you here on CharterWave in the near future.

My article that won in the megayachts category was about a 164-foot Westport that is not available for charter, but that is pretty darn interesting nonetheless. You can read that article by clicking here.

Thanks for letting me toot my own horn today. There were more than 500 entries from more than 200 writers in this contest, so it is quite exciting for me to be recognized as one of the premier charter and megayacht writers in the world!
