Churchill to Focus Exclusively on Charter

A press release went out about an hour ago announcing that Churchill Yacht Partners will now be exclusively a charter company.

The company, which was founded about four years ago, had grown to include yacht sales in its Fort Lauderdale and Newport offices. As of today, yacht sales are no longer a part of Churchill’s business plan. The company will instead focus on growing its existing fleet of charter yachts as well as its stable of in-house charter brokers, who work in a division called Rikki Davis Yachts at Churchill Yacht Partners.

I personally have always liked what I’ve seen from the brokers there, who include Rikki Davis, Tracey Gulbranson and recent CharterWave broker of the month Maggie Vale. They regularly attend international boat shows, and they always ask smart questions in my presence.

The moves today at Churchill should not affect you as a person seeking to book a charter. If anything, down the road, the company should have even more crewed yachts and charter brokers available to serve you.
