Report from the Dubai Boat Show
If you are a regular reader of the Editor’s Blog here on CharterWave, then you know I was in a virtual monsoon in Brazil during the middle of March, when I traveled to South America to learn about future opportunities for crewed charter there.
Halfway around the world, several reputable charter brokers were asking very similar questions in Dubai, which has designs on becoming a charter destination itself. A charter company from Florida, called Neptune Group Yachting, had a booth at the Dubai Boat Show, and the company’s president, longtime broker DJ Parker (seated at bottom left in the photo below), allowed me the pleasure of an interview to find out what she learned.

Her exclusive interview about Dubai’s future and present as a charter destination is now available in the Helpful Articles section here on CharterWave.
Her insights are well worth a read, especially if you’re interested in chartering in Dubai–an option Parker thinks will be become available onboard proper crewed yachts within the next two to three years.
