New Feature: Boat Show Reports
I have slowly but surely been working on adding a new section to CharterWave, and I think it’s now ready for its public debut. It’s called Boat Show Reports and will feature interviews with reputable charter brokers who attend boat shows and charter events.
As you know, I attend a good number of these boat shows each year for firsthand reporting, but I simply can’t be everywhere at once. One example was the Dubai boat show held in March, when I was checking out the charter market in Brazil. Instead of my usual personal take on a boat show like that one, we ran an interview with broker DJ Parker from Neptune Group Yachting about the Dubai show. The traffic that interview generated led me to believe that you might like to see more of these reports from brokers who, in my opinion, know their stuff.
Last month, there were a good half-dozen worldwide charter shows and events from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean. I covered the largest of the events, the Genoa charter boat show, live here on the Editor’s Blog (and again in this month’s CharterWave eNews), and have recruited reputable brokers to give me their thoughts on the other four.
All but one of these interviews (I’m doing the last one later today) is now posted in the new Boat Show Reports section of CharterWave, which you will from now on be able to access through our Helpful Articles index page. Whenever there are future events that I can’t attend in person, I’ll reach out to a broker whose opinion I trust to do an interview for this new section on CharterWave.
I believe this new feature only adds to CharterWave’s editorial excellence, as we are already covering more of the worldwide crewed charter industry every month than any other magazine or website covers in an entire year. If you’re looking for information about charter, we want you to come here first. Hopefully, this new feature will give you yet another reason to do so.
