Off to Panama City

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

If you’re reading this on Friday, January 11, then I am somewhere in the air between New York City and Panama City, where I’m scheduled to meet the 170-foot expedition motoryacht Latitude.

She’s offering charters this winter in and around Panama and Belize–two rarely available crewed charter destinations–and I’m going to spend a few days onboard getting to know the program and interviewing her owners, courtesy of Neptune Group Yachting.

I hope to be able to post quick items from the yacht each day that I’m gone, to let you know what I find as we cruise near the Panama City area. Stay tuned here on the Editor’s Blog…

Happy Holidays!

Friday, December 21st, 2007

Like much of the rest of the Western world, I’ll be traveling this weekend in anticipation of celebrating Christmas with my family early next week. So this will be my last blog post until after the big day with Santa.

Happy Holidays to you all, and see you back here late next week!

Heading Home

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

Well, it’s been a lovely two weeks’ worth of boat shows, cruising, and crew interviews here in the Caribbean, but if you’re reading this on Friday, December 14, I am long gone from the warm weather–and hopefully am somewhere in the air beating the incoming ice storm to the New  York Area.

See you back here on the CharterWave Editor’s blog first thing Monday morning!
