Y.CO sends word not only that the 228-foot megayacht Sherakhan will support the Caribbean islands recovering from recent hurricanes by offering charters there throughout the upcoming winter season, but also that Sherakhan‘s owner will donate $20,000 to YachtAid Global for all Caribbean charter bookings made before Christmas.
In addition, for every charter booking that is made through a Y.CO broker, the company will add another $5,000 in donations to help the islands.
I’ve long been a fan of Sherakhan, which I’ve chartered aboard in the Caribbean. She is a fantastic charter yacht for large groups, as she is able to accommodate as many as 26 guests (far more than the usual 12 that most other charter yachts can take). Sherakhan has a spa deck, an impressive two-level dining room and a sprawling sundeck hot tub for guests to enjoy. The owner is an avid boater who uses Sherakhan regularly and thus invests in quality regular maintenance.
The owner just completed a refit that included an exterior paint job, changing Sherakhan‘s blue hull to white, and in summer 2017 added new tenders and toys including a water slide, Laser sailing dinghies, surfboards, Jet Skis and more.
Any reputable charter broker can help you book a Caribbean yacht charter aboard Sherakhan before Christmas, with donation money benefitting YachtAid Global. The lowest weekly base rate is $425,000.
