Grenada, at the far south of the Caribbean Sea, is a destination that rarely gets advertised for yacht charter. It is sometimes part of an itinerary in St. Vincent and the Grenadines—I once chartered from St. Vincent down to Grenada and enjoyed many of the islands, including Grenada itself (don’t miss the chocolate factory)—but to see Grenada marketed on its own is unusual in the crewed charter market.
That’s why a recent announcement from Ocean Independence caught my eye. The management company says the 125-foot custom motoryacht Big Change II has availability in Grenada starting January 4.
Big Change II is a 2010 build that accommodates 10 or 11 guests in five staterooms. She has at-anchor stabilizers for comfort when the yacht is at anchor, as well as a sundeck hot tub for relaxing under the stars.
The lowest weekly base rate is $102,700 to charter Big Change II in Grenada this January. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week on board.
