Here’s an interesting promotion from Edmiston and Company: The 116-foot AB Yachts motoryacht Five Waves, which has never chartered, is available for bookings March 30 through April 8, and April 13-27, in the Bahamas.
Five Waves is a 2010 build that accommodates 10 guests in five cabins. As you can see in the photograph at right, she’s a head-turner, and her top speed of 42 knots will make her one of the fastest large yachts available in the Bahamas. (Cruising speed is 36 knots.)
AB Yachts is a brand name that is something of a rarity on the charter market. The Italian builder, founded in 1992, has the same parent company as Maiora, whose go-fast motoryachts are well-known to charter clients, especially in the Mediterranean. The 116 is the second-largest model that AB Yachts offers. The largest is a 140.
Edmiston says Five Waves is available for bookings of at least four days at a base rate of $15,000 per day, or a weekly base rate of $100,000.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Five Waves, help you get a sense of the crew and more.
