Broker Carolyn Titus at Northrop and Johnson Worldwide Yacht Charters recommends the 87-foot Little Harbor sailing yacht Seahawk for a New Year’s charter: “She is available, at this point, starting December 27 in the Caribbean. This beautiful yacht charters for up to six guests in three staterooms, all with en suite baths.  Capt. Robert Edgar is well known for his hospitality, crew service, and glistening maintenance, and he knows all the secret spots to visit for a great charter.”

The team at CharterWorld tells us: “The 76-foot Ferretti motoryacht Sea Stream in the Seychelles is still fully available for the holidays. The weather in the Seychelles has just hit ‘perfect,’ and now is the ideal time to charter. Feedback from our first charter on Sea Stream was that ‘The yacht is in perfect condition, the crew were great, the food was fantastic—overall it was very high quality for the Seychelles.’”

The 120-foot custom motoryacht Touch is one among several yachts still available in the Caribbean, according to management company Fraser Yachts Worldwide. With four king-bed staterooms, Touch makes an interesting option for couples who want to split the charter bill. The holiday weekly base rate is $65,000.

Ocean Independence says the 95-foot sailing yacht Azzura is still available for Christmas and/or New Year’s in the Caribbean, at a weekly base rate of $37,000 for six guests: “The skipper, Jeff Alexander, has been onboard since the launch in 1998, and even before has been working with the same owner. The captain has very good knowledge of the Caribbean cruising grounds. We always receive excellent feedback from this yacht’s charter clients.”  

Churchill Yacht Partners still has several yachts with holiday availability, including the 116-foot Holland Jachtbouw sailing yacht Whisper, at a weekly base rate of $80,000 for six guests.

For a New Year’s holiday farther afield than the Caribbean, consider the 134-foot sailing yacht Queen of Andaman, which is still available according to Asia Pacific Superyachts and will be based in Phuket, Thailand.

Also available this holiday season in Phuket is the 155-foot ISA motoryacht Axioma, whose lowest weekly base rate is €165,000 for 12 guests, and whose holiday base rate is €185,000, according to Yacht Zoo.

The team at CSO Yachts tells us: “The sailing yacht Atao is still available for a Christmas booking in the Caribbean. With no fixed home port yet, Atao won’t charge any delivery fee for a charter starting in the Caribbean. Atao is an 81-foot sloop built in 2005 and with cabins that are ideal for two couples with children.”

Edmiston & Company has nearly a dozen yachts still available for Christmas and New Year’s bookings, including the 178-foot Alloy sailing yacht Tiara, which just announced a new partnership with Dive Butler International for scuba enthusiasts.

Last but not least this week, The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals has five yachts with availability for Christmas and New Year’s charters.
