By far, the yacht that earned the most rave reviews was the 145-foot sailing catamaran Hemisphere. She is not only the world’s largest sailing catamaran for charter, but she also boasts a stunning interior décor filled with unique fabrics and textures. The 229-foot Rossi Navi motoryacht Numptia really wowed show-goers with her stylish jazz club, full-on spa deck, and innovative sundeck hot tub featuring overhead water jets for shoulder massages. The 120-foot Intermarine motoryacht Chosen One got a lot of good feedback thanks to smart interior upgrades and longtime charter Capt. Russ White taking command of day-to-day operations Damrak II, a 70-foot Sunreef powercatamaran, earned high praise thanks to her contemporary interior décor and friendly crew. The 142-foot Palmer Johnson motoryacht Lady J had mouths watering for the creations of chef Emma Beckett, who took first prize in the culinary competition and treated guests to several varieties of her homemade, gourmet chocolates. Teleost, a 162-foot Feadship motoryacht, looked as perfect as always and even more enticing than usual thanks to the addition of a brand-new water slide. The 110-foot Southern Wind sailing yacht Thalima had racing enthusiasts agog, with a contemporary interior décor and various sail plans that should make chartering at regattas really exciting. It took show-goers a few days to realize that the 163-foot Feadship motoryacht Troyanda is the ex-High Chaparral, thanks to a smart refit that makes her much more contemporary both inside and out. The 208-foot Lurssen motoryacht Polar Star impressed attendees with a sampling of hors d’oeuvres that showed off the chef’s fantastic gourmet abilities. Last but not least, the 47-foot sailing catamaran Nemo earned applause for her environmentally friendly charter methods. She has solar panels, a filtered water system, and even biodegradable soaps and shampoos onboard. |
