charter yacht IndianaOceanstyle by Burgess has just welcomed the 127-foot Bilgin motoryacht Indiana to the charter fleet in Greece.

Indiana was built in 2010. She boasts several large-yacht features, including a main-deck master suite with 180-degree views over the bow as well as a marble master bathroom. Indiana also has zero-speed stabilizers, a sundeck hot tub, and economical fuel consumption of just 79 gallons (300 liters) per hour. Her cruising speed is about 14 knots, with a top speed of about 16 knots.

She accommodates eight to 10 guests, who will have plenty of options for water-sports fun. Onboard toys include a pair of Yamaha Wave Runners, a SeaDoo, a Seabob, and gear for rendezvous scuba diving. Fishing, snorkeling, and other standard toys are also part of the charter program.

Indiana will be based this summer in Athens, Greece, with availability for charters throughout the Adriatic Sea and East Mediterranean. The lowest weekly base rate is €91,000.

Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Indiana or help you book a week onboard this summer.

charter yacht Cuor di LeoneLast summer, the 163-foot Benetti motoryacht Cuor di Leone offered a 30-percent discount on charters in Greece and Turkey. Now comes word from management company Ocean Independence that the yacht is offering similar discounts during May and June in the West Mediterranean.

The regular weekly base rate during May and June is €161,000. For events, it's €185,000.

For charters of at least five days in May or at least seven days of June, Cuor di Leone is now dropping those rates by 25 percent. During most weeks, the discounted rate will be €120,750. During the Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival, it will be €138,750.

For charters of at least 10 days during May and June, the discount increases to 30 percent, or a weekly base rate of €112,700.

For charters of 14 days or more during May and June, the discount increases further to 37 percent, or a weekly base rate of €101,430.

Cuor di Leone was built in 1999 and most recently refit in 2005. She was repainted for the summer 2011 charter season. Her arrangements include five cabins that sleep 10 to 12 guests, depending on whether you want to use the bunk-style Pullman berths. There's also a day room on the upper deck that can be used as a sixth cabin with its own bathroom.

Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Cuor di Leone or help you book a week onboard this spring at the newly announced discount rates.

charter yacht NemoSelect Yachts tells me that the 47-foot sailing catamaran Nemo is giving seven free bottles of sparkling Italian wine with any week-long charter departing from St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The owner-operators of Nemo, who are Italian, have selected Berlucci Cuvee Franciacorta. It is a DOCG wine that earned 90 points from Wine Enthusiast. It is made from chardonnay grapes and retails for about $22.

I was most recently onboard Nemo in late 2011, when her eco-friendly charter program turned heads at the annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show. I had a chance to interview Capt. Andrea Aliverti about Nemo's solar panels, wind generator, water-filtration system, and more.

Nemo accommodates two to 10 guests at weekly base rates ranging from $11,950 to $18,950. The sparkling wine promotion is good for charters with six guests.

Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Nemo or help you book a week onboard in the Virgin Islands.
