If your fourth chakra is out of balance, then the photograph above should interest you.

It depicts the master cabin shower aboard the brand-new, 98-foot Benetti Sail Division-built motoryacht Mrs. White, which I toured earlier this month at the industry-only charter show in Italy. Stewardess Dijana Keser explained to me that the square rainshower head in the ceiling is outfitted to provide chromotherapy--a method of alternative medicine that is said to help balance physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional energy wherever they are out of balance in the body.

Believers in India say the body has seven spiritual centers, or chakras, each of which is associated with a different color. Green, for instance, is the fourth chakra, or heart. If your heart is aching, they say, then flipping the chromotherapy switch to green before your shower may help to restore balance.

Among this shower's other chromotherapy options are blue for the fifth chakra, which is the throat, and  violet for the seventh chakra, which is the top of the head:

I couldn't help but note the irony of such a feature onboard a motoryacht named Mrs. White, which was built by the same person who owns the 78-foot motoryacht Mr. White. Much of the crew aboard the new 98-footer came from the 78-footer, and Keser told me they're all excited about the owner's plans to sign the contracts to begin building a 131-footer this fall. It's expected to be called Princess White. No word yet on whether alternative medicine is part of the construction plans.
