Built in 2005, the sloop just completed what Churchill says was a major refit. "She is in better than new condition," according to the marketing team. I have no reason to doubt the claim, but I do look forward to touring Jewel in person in a few weeks, at the industry-only Antigua charter show, so that I can tell you what I see with my own two eyes. Alloys, after all, are pretty darn nice when they first launch. The yacht will take six guests in three cabins, each with its own bathroom. Jewel is being marketed as a powerful sailing yacht with availability for racing and regattas as well as for what Churchill calls "active sailing vacations." Sounds like fun to me. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week onboard. Jewel will be available in the Caribbean this winter. Comments (0)
