This is Aquarius, an 80-foot Cheoy Lee that was launched in 2008. She is new to the charter fleet at Robert J. Cury & Associates, which is one of our sponsors.

Fleet manager Nicole Caufield describes Aquarius as "finished to the highest level of luxury," which appears to be true based on the interior photography that I have posted below.

To my eye, the layout looks ideal for three couples. The master stateroom has a king-size bed, while the two other, equal-sized staterooms each have a queen-sized bed. At a weekly base rate of $29,500 in the Caribbean this winter, that's about $10,000 per couple (plus food and other typical charter expenses).

You'd be hard-pressed to find even a cruise ship suite at that price, let alone a private yacht with a crew of two to tend to your every wish.

Also worth noting is that Aquarius is being marketed as having an "economical cruising speed." That's true of all Cheoy Lee builds I've seen on the charter market, since the yachts are meant to go relatively slowly while burning far less fuel than go-fast express cruisers of the same length. For you as a charter client, the result is a lower fuel bill at the end of your vacation.
