Today's deal is from Athens Yachts in Greece. They tell me that the 108-foot Maiora motoryacht Ramina is dropping its weekly base rate by more than €16,000, from €80,500 to €64,400, for charters between July 30 and August 19. That is a savings of about 20 percent, one of the biggest discount offers I've seen publicly announced this summer for a charter yacht in Greece. It's not quite as big as the discount that Athens Yachts offered aboard the 100-foot Falcon motoryacht AK to fill a specific week in June after a previous booking fell through, but the new discount applies to some of the most popular charter dates of the year, when yachts typically charge premiums as opposed to offering discounts in the Greek Isles. Ramina is a 2009 build that takes eight or nine guests in four cabins, with a crew of five. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Ramina or help you book the designated weeks at the newly announced discount rate. Comments (0)
