charter yacht Blue WhaleNicholson Yachts sends word that the 60-foot Cape Fear sailing yacht Blue Whale is dropping its weekly base rates by $1,000 as an "end of summer special" for charters in New England.

That makes the new weekly base rate $11,000 with two crew. Or, you can choose a captain-only charter at a weekly base rate of $9,000, with meals ashore.

These newly announced discounts follow a 10-percent rate reduction that the yacht offered for charters in New England during the month of August.

Blue Whale is a 2007 build that takes as many as five charter guests in two cabins. The master cabin has a queen-size bed plus a twin-size bed that is ideal for a child. The guest cabin has a queen-size bed that can be split into two smaller beds if desired.

A full brochure with photos of Blue Whale is online here. Or, you may get further information about booking a week aboard from any reputable charter broker.
