Management company OceanStyle says Vanquish is currently based in Sydney, Australia, and will be available for charters there until the end of May. After that, the yacht will move to Fiji, where she has a calendar ready to receive bookings. Vanquish is a 2006 build that just completed an extensive refit. She has a top speed of more than 30 knots, which should be great for exploring as much as possible of Fiji's Mamanuca and Yasawa archipelagos. I absolutely loved the most recent charter that I did there. Fiji is a destination filled with beauty, culture, and solitude. Vanquish is advertised as taking eight guests, though two of them should ideally be children. The fourth guest cabin is a convertible media room with twin bunks. The weekly base rates for charter during summer 2012 in Fiji are the same as they were for summer 2011 in the Mediterranean. Low season is being advertised at €101,500 while high season is being marketed at €112,000. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Vanquish or help you book a week onboard this summer in Fiji. Comments (0)

Fiji is one of those bucket-list destinations that can be hard to reach via yacht charter, for the simple reason that precious few luxury yachts actually go there every year. That's why it's exciting that the 120-foot Palmer Johnson motoryacht Vanquish has just announced plans to charter in Fiji during June, July, and August.
