Gdansk, PolandEdmiston and Company sends word of some really unusual yacht charter opportunities this summer in the Baltic region.

The 168-foot Schweers motoryacht Legend has booked a charter during the London Olympics from August 1-10. Prior to that event, the owner has decided to send Legend north to the Baltic. Charter dates he is making available include the period from June 22 through July 21.

Itineraries are flexible and can include Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. Some cities that Edmiston is promoting as particularly enticing options include Oslo in Norway, Copenhagen in Denmark, Gdansk in Poland (shown in the photograph at right), Gotland and Stockholm in Sweden, Helsinki in Finland, Tallinn in Estonia, and St. Petersburg in Russia.

The Norwegian fjords and the Aland Islands in Finland also are options.

These are unusual locations for any charter yacht to make available, and particularly a charter yacht of Legend's caliber. She takes 12 guests in six cabins, offers a wide variety of toys including a 23-foot Chase tender, and has substantial onboard amenities including zero-speed stabilizers.

The weekly base rate is €185,000 to charter Legend in any of the Baltic locations this summer. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about taking advantage of these unusual yacht charter opportunities.
