charter yacht PowdermonkeyOceanstyle tells me that the 100-foot Falcon motoryacht Powdermonkey is offering a 20-percent discount on West Mediterranean yacht charters this summer, as long as you complete the booking before the end of May.

The regular, lowest weekly base rate to charter Powdermonkey is €45,000. With the discount, that base rate drops to €36,000.

During the high-season months of July and August, the discounted weekly base rate is €47,040. That is very close to the base rate during non-prime months in the West Med.

Powdermonkey is a 2004 build that accommodates 10 guests in five cabins. Three of the cabins have double beds while two of the cabins have twin beds, making Powdermonkey an ideal choice for families chartering with children. The yacht's top speed is 24 knots, which should make for great itineraries that include multiple ports along the Cote d'Azur.

Powdermonkey is based in La Napoule, which is just southwest of Cannes, France. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week onboard before the early-booking discount expires at the end of this month.
