In the spirit of giving credit where credit is due, I’d like to share this recent client review of the 55-foot Oyster sailing yacht Xiuma. She earned high praise not only from recent charter clients, but also from longtime charter broker Trish Cronan of Ocean Getaways, who organized the charter through management company Regency Yacht Vacations. Here is what the clients had to say just after their charter aboard Xiuma: “Hands down last week was the best vacation we have ever had! Chef/stewardess Virginia provides a first-class experience with no detail missed. Perfection, from the beauty of the boat to the heart of Virginia in every way. I felt like I had a fairy princess who knew what I needed and when. If I had a thought that I was thirsty, there was a drink in my hand. The food was absolutely exquisite, and plentiful. The accommodations were truly lovely. Xiuma is a beautiful boat. “Captain Jonathan did a great job! Our race experience at the Oyster Regatta was loads of fun and exhausting. Jonathan and Virginia both are great teachers, so being there to re-experience sailing in the hopes of someday having our own boat was perfect. Yes, we definitely know we will have a boat. This experience rekindled my love for sailing, and we are hooked. “We hope to sail with Xiuma again, perhaps next year at the Oyster Regatta. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. We wake up every morning wishing we were on the water.” Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Xiuma or help you book a week onboard. Comments (0)

There’s no better reference for any charter yacht than the experience of previous clients. I find that previous clients cut through all the marketing hullabaloo and tell it straight, whether they’ve had a good time, a lousy time, or the best darn vacation of their lives.
