charter yacht KanaloaOcean Independence sends word that the 157-foot CRN motoryacht Kanaloa has a gap in her charter calendar from August 10-29 in the West Mediterranean. The owner is offering substantial booking discounts to try to get clients onboard during that 19-day stretch.

The regular weekly base rate to charter Kanaloa during high season is €145,000. If you book for 10 days during the newly announced August dates, then you can get a 20-percent discount and pay a total base rate of €165,714. If you book for 14 days, then you can get a 35-percent discount and pay a total base rate of €188,500.

That second rate, on a per-week scale, is even better than the one that Kanaloa's owner offered back in May, before the high season in the Mediterranean began.

I was last onboard Kanaloa in 2008, when I took one of several tours I've done aboard this yacht in years past. She is a 1996 build that I once again found to be nicely maintained and in great shape for her age. She has a number of timeless features that charter clients still appreciate today, including a nanny cabin and a large sundeck that is great for hosting parties.

Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Kanaloa or help you book her at the newly announced discount rate for charters between August 10-29 in the West Mediterranean.
