All of this is why I was so excited to see an announcement from Northrop and Johnson Worldwide Yacht Charters about a deal that gets clients 40-percent off a crewed yacht charter in Norway during the height of the summer season. The 139-foot Christensen motoryacht Daydream is offering the deal through August 24, with itineraries between Bergen and Stavanger. Bergen is one of the cities that I cruised into during my visit, and it's about as picturesque as can be, right at the base of fjord country. The streets are lined with colorful buildings, adorable shops selling handmade sweaters, and restaurants and farmer's markets with freshly caught salmon, crabs, and other local delicacies. I even found reindeer sausage in one outlet. (It was yummy.) With the 40-percent discount that Northrop and Johnson Worldwide Yacht Charters is promoting, the weekly base rate for Daydream in this region drops from €92,000 to €55,200. Daydream is a 1991 build that accommodates 10 guests in five cabins. There are seven crew onboard. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Daydream or help you book a week onboard at the newly announced discount rate for August in Norway. Comments (0)
