Nicholson Yachts tells me that the 67-foot Discovery sailing yacht Tilly Mint is offering a special "Sailing 'n' Sipping" charter package during the Newport Mansions Wine and Food Festival on September 21, 22, and 23.

Food & Wine magazine is hosting the event, which is expected to include more than 100 of the world's finest vintners as well as more than two dozen of New England's finest restaurants and caterers. Emeril Lagasse is among the celebrity chefs who are on the bill. He will offer a cooking demonstration before signing books. Also on the event's schedule are seminars, auctions, and more.

Tilly Mint is offering a three-day package to coincide with the event. Charter guests will receive lunch and dinner onboard September 21; breakfast and dinner onboard either the 22nd or 23rd (whichever day you attend the festival during the afternoon); and all three meals plus a six-hour sail on the 22nd or 23rd (whichever day you stay onboard throughout the day). You also will receive breakfast onboard before departure on September 24.

The package also includes four tickets to the festival's Grand Tasting on either Saturday or Sunday; transportation to and from the Marble House venue; and two nights' dockage in Newport.
