Churchill Yacht Partners sends word that two of the motoryachts in its charter fleet are now completing shipyard refits in advance of the winter Caribbean season.
The 130-foot Westport motoryacht Miss Michelle has just converted one of her queen-bed staterooms into a twin-bed configuration. That means she can now accommodate 11 guests in five cabins, three of which have king-size beds and two of which have twin-size beds. One of the twin-bed cabins also has a bunk-style Pullman berth for the eleventh guest (ideally a child).
Also completing a stateroom refit right now is the 130-foot Christensen motoryacht Sweet Escape. Her configuration will remain the same, with three king-bed cabins plus two cabins that can be arranged as either king or twin beds. All of the cabins are being renovated to give them what Churchill calls a lighter, airier, upscale hotel feel compared with their previous decor, which is shown in the photograph at right.
Both motoryachts will return to charter this winter in the Caribbean. Sweet Escape will be moving from there to Panama's San Blas Islands in April 2013.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Sweet Escape or Miss Michelle, or help you book a week onboard in the Caribbean this winter.
