Yacht Charter Opportunities in Cuba, Northwest Passage PDF Print E-mail

charter yacht FortrusMore news this week about charter yachts heading to interesting destinations this winter. Today it comes from Ocean Independence, which has motoryachts being offered in Cuba as well as the Northwest Passage.

The Cuba opportunity is by way of the 150-foot Picchiotti motoryacht Golden Compass, which will be available not only there this winter, but also in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Before heading to those Southern locations, Golden Compass will appear later this month at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. That means she will be open for tours by anyone who wants to check her and her crew out before committing to a charter booking for this winter.

The Northwest Passage opportunity is thanks to the 112-foot Inace motoryacht Fortrus, which is a new addition to the Ocean Independence charter fleet (and is shown in the photograph at right). Fortrus is cruising the Northwest Passage before heading down the U.S. East Coast and arriving at the Panama Canal by January 2013. She'll then be available for the rest of the winter season in the Caribbean.

Golden Compass and Fortrus can each accommodate 12 guests. The lowest weekly base rate to charter Golden Compass is $114,000; to book Fortrus, it's $72,500.

Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week onboard either yacht.
