Northrop and Johnson tells me that the 154-foot Delta motoryacht Mr. Terrible is reducing its weekly base rate from $198,000 to $175,000 for all Bahamas and Florida charters that are booked before July 15 (which is just shy of two weeks from today).
This deal is an extension of the offer that I first wrote about back in February, when the booking deadline was February 29 for charters before Mr. Terrible left the Caribbean last winter. That deadline was extended to May 15 for summer charters in Florida and the Bahamas, and now has been extended again for summer charters that are booked before July 15.
Mr. Terrible is a uniquely beautiful motoryacht in the charter industry thanks to her "Polynesian chic" interior decor. I was onboard Mr. Terrible in late 2010, and I found the boat to be positively charming. In the main salon alone, I must have seen at least a dozen design features that I’d never before experienced onboard a yacht of any size. The owners' eclectic taste is a refreshing change of pace from the industry's more commonly used neutral designs.
Mr. Terrible takes 10 or 12 guests with seven crew. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you sign a contract in the next two weeks to receive the incentive rate in the Bahamas or Florida.
