She is the author of Dream Cruises: The Insider’s Guide to Private Yacht Charter Vacations, and is a regular contributor to boating and travel magazines including Yachting, where she is the charter editor.

Before launching CharterWave, Kim was the executive editor of Yachting and the charter editor at Power & Motoryacht. She also spent about seven years working as a newspaper editor, and she is a graduate of the renowned University of Missouri School of Journalism. Her colleagues have elected her three times to serve as president of Boating Writers International, a professional organization with more than 500 worldwide members. She is an affiliate member of the charter professional organizations CYBA International and Florida Yacht Brokers Association.

Kim lives in Long Valley, New Jersey, with her PGA golf professional husband and their shelter rescue hounds, Stella and Blue.
