I love sitting down over drinks with Justin and Caylet, crew of the charter catamaran Aldebaran. Well traveled and well read, their conversations are always interesting, and thoughtful with the bonus that I walk away egergised from their positive upbeat attitude!
Aldebaran is the name of the brightest star in the sky and this Lagoon 57 certainly shines. With a master cabin with just a bit more space than found on most cats her size plus large seperate stall shower, and two additional guests cabins, this cat is perfect for groups up to 6.
Marmot is crewed by Al & Sarah Munro, long a favorite of charter clients, since they have been sailing the Caribbean for the past 10 years on a number of well known catamarans. Al’s easy going nature and calm knowledge of sea life above & below the water make him a superb charter Captain, while Sarah’s food is varied and delicious.

The layout of this catamaran offers a large master cabin and two queen cabins all with ensuite heads & showers. The roomy salon opens to a massive covered cockpit that is perfect for dining or relaxing. The trampolines up forward are a great sunning area as well as a beautiful spot to soak up the ambience of the sea water as you glide by.
Although my video skills need improvement, here is a quick shot taken on the dock at Village Cay Marina, steps outside our office. It means we get a chance to frequently see the yachts & crew as they travel in & out of Tortola.

I am going to get better at this -- promise! I was out looking at boats last week and took the opportunity to take this short clip of the 76' ctamaran Kings Ransom that charters for up to 10 people throughout the Caribbean. It is so hard to put into words how comfortable this cat is -- and no way to show how great her crew are either. So here's hoping that a picture is better at telling the story. Kings Ransom is one of my favorites!
