Australian Superyachts tells us the 137-foot Gulf Craft motoryacht De Lisle III will charter in the Solomon Islands starting in June 2018. The weekly base rate will be $125,000 for eight or nine guests, with seven crew.
The Solomons are an unusual South Pacific destination for charter, with few crewed yachts visiting there each year. The Solomons offer great scuba diving, including along World War II wrecks and crashed airplanes near shore, as well as surfing and fishing hot spots.
De Lisle III is a 2008 build that has an interior decor featuring Italian marble, natural leather and fittings of 24-carat gold plate. She has been chartering in the South Pacific since at least 2013, which means her owner and crew should have outstanding local knowledge for planning charter itineraries.
