It is a heavey commitment to pick up the tab for a family to vacation on a yacht charter in the Caribbean, but one that creates mempories that last a lifetime. Regency Yacht Vacations has been helping clients find the right kid friendlly yacht & crew for Easter or spring breaks for many years. Long enough in fact, that we are now helping the nextr generation introduce their young families to the wonders of a yacht charter!
Learing to sail, cranking winches, steering the boat, jumping overboard early in the morning — long uninterrupted meals where you get to actually talk with your kids (plus no after dinner discussion about who’s turn to do the dishes!) make a yacht charter a quality vacation for families. Plenty of acticies for your kids, while they are safely nearby, a yacht charter creates a wonderful bonding experience.
There are still a few good options for families this winter season — so cash in your miles & take the family sailing!

Can’t break away for a week? Or perhaps your group is not certain that they will enjoy time on a yacht? The answer is to charter for less than a week & give it a try. Most yachts will accept trips from three to six nights easily — some will even agree to just an overnight if it fits with their schedule. Clients who try the shorter charters usually come back later for a full week to see all they have missed!
Try Shining Star, the 60′ DeFever trawler that is based on the east end of St. Thomas. She is roomy and stable, a good choice for those who are unsure about living on a yacht. Well set up to two to four guests, you can hop onto a direct flight from a number of cities into St. Thomas and step on board. Quick & easy, you’ll be sipping your first pina colda before you know it!

Prices are in Euros and very high — but then you get to be some of the few in the world with ring side seats. Monaco Grand Prix is May 22-25 this year — make your plans now!
