Nicholson Yachts sends word that the classic 115-foot schooner Eros is available for a spring break charter in either the British Virgin Islands or the lower Caribbean islands of Martinique, St. Lucia, Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Eros launched in 1939 at Brooks Motor Craft in Britain. She became part of the Royal Navy during World War II and then returned to the waters as a private yacht in the Mediterranean.
Her current owners have had her since 1992, and have made it their goal to complete a museum-quality restoration of the classic sailing yacht. The most recent work included new upholstery, teak deck furniture and a new Zodiac tender.
Eros accommodates eight guests in four staterooms. The master has a queen-size bed, the VIP has a double, and the remaining two guest staterooms have upper-and-lower berths with a shared bathroom.
Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about Eros or help you book her during spring break.
