If you’re a regular reader of CharterWave, then you know the 161-foot Feadship motoryacht Teleost is one of my all-time favorite charter yachts. I was fortunate to spend a week aboard her in the Seychelles, where the yacht and her crew were highly impressive. The owner keeps Teleost in immaculate condition (I’ve been aboard her a number of times over the years, always pristine), and he knows a top-notch chef when he sees one. Capt. Nigel Burnet, one of two rotating captains with this yacht’s charter program, oversaw my charter and is still with the yacht today, providing the same level of outstanding service.
Now comes word from Edmiston that Teleost will be taking charters starting February 1, 2017, in Panama and Costa Rica. This is a fantastic opportunity to charter a world-class motoryacht in exotic locales where few charter yachts ever go.
Teleost is a 1998 build that accommodates 10 guests in a choice of six staterooms, with 10 crew aboard for a ratio of one-to-one guest service. Her toys include a water slide, standup Jet Skis, sit-down WaveRunners, windsurfers, fishing gear, underwater scooters, kayaks, snorkeling gear and a slew of tow toys, water skis and wakeboards.
The lowest weekly base rate will be $175,000 to charter Teleost this winter in Panama or Costa Rica. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week on board.
