OceanStyle tells me that the 120-foot Palmer Johnson motoryacht Vanquish still has availability this month in the Western Mediterranean–including August 30 and 31, when the owner has pre-booked a marina berth in St. Tropez.
It can be notoriously difficult to get a berth in such a popular marina at the tail end of the high season, when so many charterers are typically trying to squeeze in a last few days of summer fun on the Riviera.
Vanquish is a 2006 build that just completed an extensive refit. She has a top speed of more than 30 knots, which means clients will be able to get from St. Tropez to other Riviera ports in a flash. She is advertised as taking eight guests, though two of them should ideally be children. The fourth guest cabin is a convertible media room with twin bunks.
Also worth noting for charter clients who crave privacy: The sundeck aboard Vanquish has a retractable staircase. That means you can walk upstairs, raise the stairs behind you, and enjoy all of the privacy you want while sunbathing.
The regular weekly base rate to charter Vanquish during August is €112,000. Any reputable charter broker can tell you more or help you book a week onboard.
