charter yacht Mrs. White main saloonManagement company Primo Yacht tells me that the 98-foot Benetti Sail Division motoryacht Mrs. White, whose main saloon is shown in the photograph at right, is offering a 20-percent discount for charters whose contracts are signed before April 30.

The discounted rates are good for charters this summer in the Mediterranean. For the high season months of July and August, the 20-percent discount gives you a weekly base rate of €56,000 versus the usual €70,000. For other months during the summer season, the discounted weekly base rate is €52,000 versus €65,000.

I wrote this review of Mrs. White after getting aboard in May 2009. I liked her, especially the features such as filtered water and shower chromotherapy that are unusual in the charter market. The owner has had several other, smaller charter yachts and built Mrs. White last year based in large part on what the crew and guests favored.
