Not to be outdone by Edmiston and Company, which announced discounts last week aboard three of its charter yachts for remaining summer weeks in the Mediterranean, Ocean Independence now sends word that three of its yachts are offering special deals in the Mediterranean, as well.

First is for the 63-foot Ferretti motoryacht Agel. She typically has a weekly base rate of €24,000 during July and August in Greek Isles but is now being offered at the low-season rate of €21,000. A 5.5 percent Greece VAT will be charged in addition to that base rate, as with all charters aboard yachts of this size in Greece.

Second from Ocean Independence this week is a discount offer for the 82-foot Sunseeker motoryacht Blue Quest. Her weekly base rate for August in the Western Mediterranean is €38,000, but the owner is offering a 15-percent discount on any seven-day charters. In addition, if you book a 14-day charter, you can receive a 20-percent discount. Blue Quest is based in Antibes.

Last this week is news that the 141-foot Holland Jachtbouw sailing yacht This Is Us (shown in the photograph above) is dropping its weekly base rate of €58,000 by 25 percent from August 15 through September 15 in the Western Mediterranean. In addition to the discount, the owner is willing to waive all delivery charges for bookings during those same dates.
