3 Motoryachts Seek Late-Season Mediterranean Bookings PDF Print E-mail

charter yacht ElleryToday is September 1, which means the summer yacht charter season is on the verge of becoming a memory. These next few weeks in the Mediterranean will most likely be the last of truly favorable weather before the autumn breezes and winter cold settle in.

Nevertheless, three motoryachts in the Primo Yacht fleet are standing by in the South of France with hopes of snagging a few last-minute charter bookings. The company is encouraging brokers to "bring all inquiries and offers," an indication that the yachts' owners are willing to negotiate on price in order to secure the late-season business.

The first available motoryacht is the 66-foot Dominator Lady Isabel, a 2003 build that accommodates six guests with two crew. Her lowest advertised weekly base rate is €23,000, and she will be available after September 8.

Next is the 70-foot Leopard motoryacht Ellery, a 1998 build that was refit in 2009. (That's Ellery in the photograph at right.) She takes six or seven guests with two crew. Her lowest advertised weekly base rate is €22,000, and she is available now.

Last is the 96-foot Princess motoryacht Mimi La Sardine, a 2008 build that takes eight guests with five crew. Her lowest advertised weekly base rate is €59,000, and she is available immediately.

Any reputable charter broker can tell you more about these three yachts, and can help you determine an offer that the owners might accept for a last-minute booking.
